Walnut Blue is a Sussex-based practice specialising in interior architecture and design. From our studio on the south coast, we offer comprehensive interior design services for residential projects, as well as turnkey solutions for boutique holiday rentals.

We pride ourselves on taking the time to listen to our clients' aspirations and hopes, making sure we understand their vision and practical requirements. Throughout the journey, we provide invaluable insight and guidance, guaranteeing a seamless process from concept to completion. Our expertise lies in envisaging and transforming spaces while always respecting our clients' budget, lifestyle preferences, and personal aesthetic tastes.

Lucy Wilson, Founder & Creative Lead

Born in Surrey, Lucy began her creative journey by studying architecture at Kingston University and later went on to complete a Diploma in Interior Design at KLC School of Design.  It was her desire to enhance architectural spaces with depth, functionality and character, which led her to establish her own design studio over a decade ago.

Drawing inspiration from travel, art, architecture, and our natural environment, Lucy begins every project with understanding the flow of space. From there, she crafts an interior narrative that aims to delight and surprise, capturing the essence of the owner or potential occupant.
